OurDream.ai Review 2026: The Free Tier, the Price and Whether It's Safe

Partly. Is OurDream AI free to try? Yes. Free to keep using? Not really. OurDream lets you send 5 messages and build one character before you even sign up, and a new account gets 55 dreamcoins, once. Free accounts pay 1 coin per message, so that's a short test chat, not an ongoing plan. The coins don't refill, the help center says there are no free coins beyond referrals and Discord giveaways, and you can't buy more without a subscription.

Images are murkier. OurDream's generator page says the starter coins stretch to a few 5-coin images, but its help center says image and video generation need a subscription. Either way, video is out of reach on free: a 5-second clip costs 100 coins, nearly twice the whole allowance.

fuckd.ai works the other way round. You can chat as a guest with no signup or make a free account to keep your chats and characters, and either way your free messages reset every day. Run out mid-scene and an extra message costs 1 spunk, or you wait until tomorrow. Any spunk you have works on a free account too: preset images and Animate Image don't need Premium, only custom prompts and a few tools do.

Winner: fuckd.ai. OurDream's free tier is a trial; fuckd.ai's is a plan you can stay on.

OurDream's standard plan costs, as of October 2026, $19.99 billed monthly or $119.88 a year (about $9.99 a month). Both include unlimited messages on the standard chat models and 1,000 dreamcoins a month; the yearly plan adds 1,000 bonus coins up front. For anyone who chats for hours every night, that's good value, and it's the clearest point in OurDream's favour.

The coins are where the costs live. From OurDream's own cost guide:

• Images: 10 coins per 2 images in the generator, 5 coins for an image inside chat
• Video: 100 coins per 5 seconds, up to 60 seconds; adding audio costs 20 coins a second
• Voice calls: 50 coins a minute
• Smarter chat models (Genius, Lively Genius): 1 coin per reply, even on the paid plan
• Community packs (a character's full picture and clip library): 250, 750 or 1,000 coins

So the monthly 1,000 coins covers about ten 5-second clips, and heavy video users will be topping up. Some terms to know before you subscribe: once a subscription ends, the pictures and videos you made are blurred until you resubscribe (community packs too), refunds aren't given once more than 25% of a purchase is used, crypto payments can't be refunded at all, and PayPal isn't accepted. Failed generations are refunded automatically, and fuckd.ai does the same.

fuckd.ai splits it differently. Premium comes with a monthly message allowance (past it, a message costs 1 spunk) plus a spunk allowance each billing period, and members can top up with one-off packs. Leaving doesn't cost you your gallery: spunk keeps working on a free account, the pictures and clips you made stay viewable and downloadable, and a character media pack (50 to 1,000 spunk) stays unlocked for good.

Winner: OurDream for heavy chatters who want unlimited messages for a flat fee. fuckd.ai if you don't want to be locked in: cancel and your pictures, clips and packs stay put.

OurDream's chat side is well equipped. It keeps an automatic memory log and lets you pin the facts that matter, it does group chats, and the community has built millions of characters, with public ones checked by a human before they go live. The creator covers realistic and anime looks, body, face, hair, outfit, personality and voice. If you want a huge library to browse, OurDream has more of it.

fuckd.ai puts more steering in your hands mid-chat. The Lust Level dial runs from Reserved through Flirty, Playful and Steamy to Insatiable; you switch between Texting and Roleplay modes; and slash commands like /direct, /continue, /recap, /suggest and /remember let you nudge the scene without breaking it. Memories save automatically every 20 messages, and you can add or edit up to 20 per chat yourself. Group chats with up to three characters run on the same free message allowance, voice calls are Premium, and the AI girlfriend generator builds a character from scratch (Premium's "Create with AI" fills the whole form from one description).

Winner: tie. OurDream for library size and unlimited paid chat; fuckd.ai for in-scene control.

Our Dream AI videos are one of its best features. It does text-to-video and image-to-video, its generator page lists clips up to 60 seconds at 720p, and you can add sound for extra coins. Nothing on fuckd.ai runs that long.

fuckd.ai caps a clip at 30 seconds but goes higher on quality. Animate Image turns any picture in your library into a clip with sound: Standard is 720p at 5, 10 or 15 seconds (4 spunk a second, so 20 spunk for 5 seconds), and Ultra renders 480p, 720p or 1080p up to 30 seconds. Text to Video, Extend Video and Edit Image are Premium, and the full workflow lives on the adult AI video generator page.

For stills, fuckd.ai's studio has two models: Muse keeps a single character's likeness, and Morph puts up to three characters in one scene. You pick pose, outfit and scene presets with an Explicit switch, choose from 15 realistic and 13 anime looks, and generate 1 to 32 images at a time for 6 spunk each.

Both sites refuse real-photo uploads, so you're always working with fictional characters, never a picture of a real person.

Winner: OurDream on clip length, fuckd.ai on resolution and group scenes.

For an adult site, is OurDream AI safe? It looks like a properly run business. It's operated by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware corporation that publishes its address, and it posts a full set of policies: terms, privacy, refunds, content moderation and screening. Signing up includes confirming you're 18 or older, and a third-party provider checks ages where the law requires it.

On content, OurDream's rules require every character to be an adult who looks like one, ban deepfakes and lookalikes of real people, and block uploads of real photos. Prompts and outputs are filtered automatically, and public characters get a human review. The help center admits the filter is "a bit too sensitive" and can flag safe content, which it puts down to payment-provider rules.

On privacy, the policy says data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES), hosted on a SOC 2 Type 2 certified platform, and not currently sold. Three things are worth knowing:

• The homepage FAQ calls chats end-to-end encrypted so that "not even us" can read them. The privacy policy says encrypted in transit and at rest, which is the normal standard, and any AI has to read your message to reply to it.
• If a public character you made gets popular, OurDream can keep it running after you delete your account, so leave real details out of public characters.
• The terms include binding arbitration and a class-action waiver. You can opt out by writing to them within 30 days of signing up.

fuckd.ai works the same way: adults only, age checks in the regions that require them, fictional characters only and no photo uploads. Our advice for either site: don't put your real name, address or photos into any chat.

Winner: tie. Both are legitimate, adults-only services with no photo uploads.

No. OurDream's help center says there's no native app. You can add the site to your phone's home screen (Safari's Share menu on iPhone, Chrome's menu on Android) and it opens like an app.

One thing to watch for: Google Play lists an app called "Our Dream: AI Companion" from a different developer, not Dream Studio, and one of its reviewers points out it isn't the same as the website. If you're searching for the ourdream.ai app, the real thing is the website.

fuckd.ai is the same: a web app you can install to your home screen, with nothing to download from an app store.
